When Giant Gerbils Attack is the 41st episode of Season 31 on Disney and the 55th on Nickelodeon. Doofenshmirtz mutates gerbils to attack the town, and Phineas and Ferb are accused of this.
Episode Summary[]
Doofenshmirtz is closing down his building for the evening. He closes early so he can get to his latest scheme, a mutation device. He decides to use gerbils as his test dummies. The mutation device can mutate an animal or anything anyway imaginable. In the case of the shooting of the gerbils, they turned giant...and rabid. Doofenshmirtz sends the newly created gerbil army to attack the town.
The next morning, Phineas wakes up in the middle of the street. He wonders why, and Linda tells Phineas that it was because a giant gerbil attacked their house and destroyed it in the middle of the night. Phineas was upset. So he decided to take to the town with Ferb to see the damages that happened.
Everyone in town is giving Phineas and Ferb odd looks, and they want to know why. They go up to Isabella and ask why everyone was mad. Isabella tells them that it was their fault that the gerbils attacked. Phineas was confused. All they did yesterday was a project with fruit punch and sloppy joes. Isabella thought Phineas was bluffing, so citizens began to try and attack Phineas and Ferb. The boys ran.
Doofenshmirtz was surprised to see other citizens being blamed for his work. His door burst down. Doofenshmirtz thought it would be Agent P but it wasn't. It was Bailey and Hannah. They asked Doofenshmirtz if they would help them riot Phineas and Ferb. Doofenshmirtz said no, but he would spy on the riot.
Phineas and Ferb rushed to the rubble of their home. Phineas had a splendid idea. He thought that if he and Ferb could reconstruct the town, then the town would think they didn't do it. So that's what they did. Sure enough, the town believed the boys. But the citizens wondered who the real culprit was. Hannah said to try Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. Bailey agreed and the town rioted Doofenshmirtz instead.
