"And do you, Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for--"
"OH, put a sock in it," Isabella snapped, shoving the priest, then turned back to Phineas. "Yeah. I mean, uh, I do."
"You may now kiss the bride..." the Priest groaned from behind the table.
"Daddy, tell me another story!"
"No, sweetie. Time for bed now."
"Awww. Mommy would have let us."
"Mommy isn't here."
"Then where is she?"
"...Nowhere...just...just go to bed..."
"Okay, Daddy. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
"Daddy?"
"Yes, sweetie?"
"What about Aunt Candy?"
"Candace?"
"No, Candy. Duh."
"Heh, she's sleeping in the basement for the night. Now go to sleep."

What is Mommy yelling about? thought Selena, Phineas and Isabella's 4-year-old daughter.
"...Mommy? Daddy?"
Phineas blocked the way to the kitchen. "Go back to bed."
"B-but Daddy..."
"GO. Now."
Selena started crying and ran to her room in tears. But she didn't go to sleep. She squeezed her only friend, a Barbie doll named Leslie, and whispered to her. "Why are Mommy and Daddy so mad all the time...?"
Isabella heard this and yelled, "SHUT IT AND GO TO SLEEP!"
Selena burst into tears and hid under her covers.

Do you think this will turn out to be a good series? I based the character Selena on myself when I was a little kid. I love the lines:
