Alright, as an experienced (more than one year and 2,000 edits combined) user, I say we should crack down on profanity. Users have been getting away with this for too long, and I say we vote on a new policy- The "Profanity" policy, which is that if you say profanity (uncensored, aka not using Template:C to your advantage), you get a warning, then the blocks start (i.e. 1 day, 3 days, a week, 2 weeks, etc.).

Pages I have seen including profanity are certain Danville Times issues (Gurgy's review of SBTY contained something similar to this, but uncensored: "I wanted to yell at the screen, She loves you Dumb***!", MooMoo-of-Doom's userpage (D word), and blogs. A LOT on blogs. As Roads implied on the regular P&F wiki, people have been getting away with this for TOO LONG. It's time to crack down, admins. Use your power for good, not evil...(Not saying you've been evil, but still...)

Now, I'm not really saying Template:C should be abandoned (it can hide secret jokes, as in Faddy's review of the Achievements feature), but it should be used more actually (or less depending on your viewpoint). I mean, at least censor it using that template or stars or something!

Sorry for rambling on, but I had to.

This is not an automated message. Ask me about my "project"! 14:18, February 9, 2011 (UTC)
