Phineas and Ferb is an upcoming 2023 American live action-animated hybrid musical comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Based on the television series of the same name by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, the movie is written by Bowser & Jr. and J. Severe, with the former directing it and the latter producing it, and stars Vincent Martella, Thomas Sangster, Ashley Tisdale, Dee Bradley Baker, Dan Povenmire, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, Zendaya, Daisy Ridley, Idris Elba, and J. K. Simmons, and "Weird Al" Yankovic.


Voice cast

Zendaya, Daisy Ridley, Idris Elba, and J. K. Simmons are set to star in undisclosed roles while "Weird Al" Yankovic will feature in the film reprising his role as Milo Murphy from Milo Murphy's Law.

Audra McDonald, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Ratzenberger, and Alan Tudyk have entered talks to join the cast in undisclosed roles while series regulars Caroline Rhea, Richard O'Brian, Alyson Stoner, Bobby Gaylor, Maulik Pancholy, and Milo Murphy's Law co-stars Sabrina Carpenter and Mekai Curtis are expected to reprise their respective roles in minor roles.



Series composer Danny Jacob is set to compose the score for the film with Martin Olson co-writing with Jacob for a majority of the film's songs, including new renditions of the Phineas and Ferb theme, "Today Is Gonna Be A Great Day," and the theme song of Perry the Platypus. In addition to Danny Jacob and Martin Olson, veteran Disney songwriters Alan Menken, Robert Lopez, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and Lin-Manuel Miranda are set to write and collaborate on a few original songs as well.


The film is scheduled to release on June 23, 2023.
