'"I can't believe it!" Gretchen screamed, sitting at her computer. "Just because I stand next to him once in a while doesn't mean we're getting married!" '
'"That's what I said," Ginger crossed her arms. "It's ridiculous."
"It's not like I hate him or anything, he's a nice kid, but I'm not head over heels in love with him." Gretchen sighed.
"Who came up with that crazy idea, anyway?" "Let me Google it," Gretchen said, typing "Ferb and Gretchen" in the search bar. She gasped. "That little rat!"
Gretchen slapped her forehead. "Irving!"
Gretchen knocked on Irving's door, resisting the urge to barge in. It was Irving's older brother Albert who opened it.
"Yes?" he snapped. But when he saw it was a girl standing on his porch, he changed his tone. "Hello, my lady, how may I help you this fine morning?"
"Is Irving home?"
"Irving?" Albert's voice sank. "I'll go get him." He entered the houe, stopped and turned around to face Gretchen. "And if he's not there, is there anything I can do for you?"
Gretchen rolled her eyes. "No thanks."
Albert sighed and ran up the stairs to find his younger brother.
"Irving! You rat! What makes you think that I'm in love with Ferb?"
"Duh, you were standing next to him when you were singing Gitchee Gitchee Goo last summer. A love song!"
"That doesn't mean I'm going to marry him! Now practically everyone on the Phineas and Ferb Fanon supports 'Fertchen'!"
"It's Feretchen. And the correct phrase is 'everyone ships Feretchen'"
"What am I going to do? My reputation is ruined because of you, Irving!"
"And what are you going to do about it?" Irving sneered.
Then Gretchen had an idea. She smirked. "Tell Katie you have a crush on her, that's what."
Irving's eyes grew to be the size of frisbees. "Where did you learn that?"
"Phineas and Ferb fanon. Somebody found your diary open." Gretchen smiled.
"That's not true! I do not love Katie, I do not!"
Gretchen walked out of Irving and Albert's house that day with a smile on her face.
Two weeks later
"Irving, do you like Katie?"
Irving was about to tell a lie to his brother, but then he decided not to. "I used to. But now I like..... someone else."
Gretchen slapped her forehead. "Ginger, look what's on the Phineas and Ferb fanon! 'Grerving'! ALBERT!!!!"
Ginger sighed. "Here we go again," she mumbled as Gretchen stomped out of the house.
