Ferb on The Line is a dramatic gangster story and the second-to-last episode of Phineas and Ferb's Season 6. Its production code is 3902DIO and it is the last episode where Lawrence Fletcher appears.
Synopsis[]
Phineas and Ferb are bored. Phineas gets the idea to make a giant birdhouse when he realizes how many birds are thirsty in the world. Ferb, annoyed, leaves the yard. As he walks, he sees an argument between Mobster Mike and his father, Lawrence. Apparently, Lawrence owes the mobster money. When he refuses to hand it over, Mike guns down Lawrence. He notices Ferb, and gives him money to keep quiet. Ferb, disturbed by the idea of mobsters in his town, follows Mike back to his base. There, he sees that the mob controls everything in the town, such as what video games come out and what stores open and close in the mall. Mobster Mike walks up to Ferb, and Ferb expects hush money.
Ferb, however, is not exactly delighted to hear that the boss of the mob, Rizza, did not appreciate Mike's notion of giving hush money to Ferb and has stated that Ferb must work off his debts by acting as a member of the mob. Ferb accepts nervously.
Meanwhile, Phineas is worried about Ferb. His mom is also disturbed, because Lawrence has been taking out the trash for a long time now. Eventually, Phineas steals Candace's bike and tries to find Ferb. After pedaling for a long time, he sees Ferb in the distance. However, Ferb is dressed like a member of the mob, and is accompanied by Mike and Rizza. Mike explains that Candace took a loan from the mob to buy her bike, and it was not paid back. Since Phineas currently owns the bike, the group pulls out their guns.
Phineas is shocked that Ferb is about to shoot him. He tries to convince him not to, but Ferb says that he likes being a mobster. Phineas gets on the bike and pedals away, while Ferb, Mike, and Rizza follow in hot pursuit. Eventually, they reach a bridge. As the bridge rises, Phineas jumps over the gap while Mike and Rizza fall and drown. However, Ferb is barely hanging on to the bridge. Ferb is still holding a gun, but when he drops it, Phineas lifts him up. Ferb apologizes for being sucked in to the mob and the two walk back to their house.
