A Futile Resistance (Balance of Terror)

A futile resistance by Phineas and Ferb...

It is implied by his proud and antagonizing comment at Phineas Prime that Ferb also shares his brother's worldview of pride in the Terran Empire. While he is the strong and silent type like his Prime Universe counterpart, he shares in the hubris of his friends that the Terran Empire is almighty and great in strength. He faced the same kinds of brutal upbringing by Heinz Doofenshmirtz's child indoctination policy, which is why he is not only quiet, but serious and hard.

Creator's Comments (Tiberius64)[]

  • "Ferb is mentioned in the story The Terran Empire a few times, and is also given a more complex personality than his Prime Universe counterpart. I felt that since alternate Phineas showed a great deal of hubris, his stepbrother should, too. He has this cocky attitude, but he remains relatively strong and silent like Ferb Prime does. As a 'man of action', I had him in on some of it by having him toss his stepbrother a lightsaber to fight Phineas Prime while Ferb Prime tossed his stepbrother a lightsaber to fight alternate Phineas."
